We make every reasonable effort to ensure all orders are shipped within one business day (Monday to Friday, excluding holidays). Some situations may extend this shipping window, including the purchase of Mystery Boxes, which take additional time to create, and the addition of skein winding to the order. Please allow an extra day for orders including mystery boxes or skein winding (though we rarely actually take the extra day)
We offer steeply discounted shipping rates on all orders. Free standard shipping is available on all Canadian and US orders over $200.
Orders in our local delivery zone (Halifax / Dartmouth area) qualify for $5 flat-rate shipping or free on orders over $75. Customers a little outside our local zone may also receive an option for a discounted ($10) not-quite-local delivery charge.
Due to the offer of Flat Rate and free shipping, we reserve the exclusive right to choose what shipping modes/methods to use. The current carriers of choice are Canada Post and Sendle, though that may change in future without notice. If you have a preferred carrier, and choose to indicate to us that preference, we will do our best to accommodate but cannot guarantee our ability to use that carrier.
We do not guarantee transit times, however estimated transit times are provided upon checkout as a courtesy given our carriers' delivery standards. This may change at any time based on volume, political and social events, global pandemics, and any other major event as may impact delivery times across Canada and the USA.

We do not, as a matter of policy, refund shipping on any fulfilled orders.
We may choose to do so from time to time, based entirely on our own discretion, but our doing so should not be inferred as to set a precedent.
Unfulfilled orders will have their shipping costs refunded.
Package thievery, otherwise known as 'porch piracy' is an unfortunate thing, and it happens far too much. Unfortunately it is not something we can control or otherwise take responsibility for. If your package shows delivered, but you cannot find it, please take careful note of the tracking information. There may be notes as to where specifically the package was left. If you cannot readily find this, please reach out to us and we'll take a look at the tracking on our end.
If the package cannot be found, and we confirm it was delivered to the correct address, there is no further recourse we are able to take. Delivery companies do no pay claims on packages stolen after delivery, and we cannot be held responsible for those losses. You may consider following up with your home insurance policy if you have protections against theft, as they may be able to provide you some recompense.
